Am I The Only Person Who Hates Bare Escentuals??
I’ve tried bare escentuals a few times. I went into the store and had at least 3 different make up artists match my shade and apply it, but it just looks really bad on me.
I don’t like it, and it does look good on some, but not all.
Who else hates BE and what foundations have you discovered to work well for you?
I hate it because I have blotchy skin, and dark under eye circles, and it doesn’t cover AT ALL. I use Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation, it is not too thick so it covers sheer but evenly. I use Max Factor Pan-Stik concealer for my acne spots and undereyes. Cheaper than bare essentials.
I love BE! But I cheat and buy Physician’s Formula, because it is cheaper.
You might try Mary Kay – at least you can try it before you buy it, and return it if it doesn’t work.
I don’t like them, and my best friend HATES them, she tried it with me at the mall one day & it didn’t look like it did anything….so I don’t buy that stuff….
I personally use, Lancome foundation (which is pricey), and if I can’t afford it the I use the Ulta foundation, and I do like both very much.
Ulta has their own makeup line, they have a few types of foundations, my personal favorite is the “Illuminating Foundation with SPF”
It made me itch like crazy, especially in the summer. But mineral foundation does feel soooooo much better than liquid or creams..love that about it!
I use the Hollywood and NoHoGlo mineral foundations from LAminerals now and I absolutely LOVE THEM!!!!!
The hollywood gives more coverage, which I need sometimes, like when my face is broke out. The NoHoGlo is a lil more sheer and gives me that dewy/glowy look without doin the buff buff buff thing!
They are less expensive, look better on me, more shades, and I think better quality. Plus theres more in the jar that BE.
OHHHH and they label the TOP of the jar…aint that smart???
So you know what the heck is in it without dumping it over and spillin too much minerals through the sifter!!!
OMG…you should try some you will probly like it. My samples were only like $1 each and they shipped em free.

yea i hate it because the dont even have my shade and it does little to cover up and thats dumb because whats the point of having make up if your not going to cover something up RIGHT?
on sunday? yes.
