Difficulty Getting Bare Escentuals Powder Out Of Containers?

I recently gotton into mineral make up and really love it. I happened to get some in a Wei East kit. From there I learned about BE and got a kit. I’m having problems getting the powder out of the small container (vs Wei’s larger container…. where I would just shake upward and powder sneaks out of the holes in the right amount).
However, with BE the containers are small (even the “larger” container.)
They say to first put it into the cap. Does anyone know why they say that? It’s next to impossible to tap BE into the cap without the powder all over your sink…. so now I’m trying my best to shake it until the powder comes out, but either nothing comes out or too much comes out.
I want to go to buy some ProMinerals to get the larger container so it’s easier to come out. And who knows, maybe I’ll like that brand better. I can’t figure out how the “original” hasn’t done anything about their terrible tiny containers.
Is there a trick to it?

I’m looking for a sheer finishing powder that gives you a glow.
Can you wear the Bare Escentuals Clear Radiance (sheer translucent glow) All-Over Face Color alone and does it look ok all over your face? Or is it too pinky?
I don’t use a foundation, because I don’t need it, but want to give my skin that glow or dewy look without adding color (my skin is very fair).
