I think bare Essentiuals/minerals the rub off is because putting on so much power when only little is needed maybe? I notice it kinda absorbs into the skin and will even be there in morning but not the extra powder ONLY what absorbed in…I think its mainly to even skin ton and thats why…but it still gives some blemish coverage after its rubbed off…In the morning after sleeping in it I wash my face and you can see a big difference…
I agree about BE not catering for the Professional. I trained with the company, but cannot get the products at wholesale rates, because as a freelance Aesthetician & Make Up Specialist, I do not qualify for the opening order. Which here in England equates to around $3.000.
to set the minerals they can also use mineral veil, the product made to set the bare minerals, also no pro discount only workers of the company get 50% off and when a new item comes out we get it for free

Actually I am a big BE fan. There is actually a great product from BE called Prime Time which is a primer, It makes your skin feel like silk and helps the powder stick. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try BE for the first time. Oh and he is right there is no way to mess this up, if I can do it anyone can.

Bare Escentuals is the name of the Boutique/Store; Bare Minerals is the name of the product.
The prepper (Skin Rever Upper) and primer (prime time foundation) are two great products to use before applying your bare minerals, too; I find the skin rever upper makes the skin glow, and the primer helps the foundation to last all day. =]
Fix plus is a very good product. Or you could try the PRIME TIME that’s made by bare minearls. It soothes lines on the face, soaks up oily skin and help any dry patches disaper.
Bare Minerals made my skin break out becuase they have an ingredient (Bismuth Oxychlorid) that is shaped like a diamond and it makes your pores larger and it makes your skin itchy and it clings into your pores. But not everyone’s skin is the same. I love their brushes but not bismuth oxychlorid.

does the mac 187 work well with bare escentuals?
I’ve never tried it with bare escentuals. For powders I like to use the 190 or 134.

wat color do u wear in bare minerals like the light or medium. cause my skin is kinda like ur color
I personally do not use bare minerals. I think I sampled it once and I was light.
I hated Bare Minerals till I used it with Laura Geller Spackle and now I love it. It used to all fall off by the end of the day.
