Acetone (nail polish remover)
Most of the stuff the following posters are recommending are oxidizers which are great for most stains but won’t touch paraffin wax (main ingredient in lipstick) you need a volatile organic compound (VOC) to dissolve the paraffin. Once the parafin is out, the coloring should come out easily with ammonia.

I brush my lips everyday with my toothbrush to remove the dead skin and yet everytime I wear lipstick or chapstick, it leaves a white film on my lips after I drink something or get it wet. Despite whether it’s old or new, it still keeps leaving that film that I need to wipe off with a napkin. Any ideas as to why and how I can prevent it or what products I should get?

First vacuum all the makeup you can vacuum. Next, if the Bare Escentuals left a mark, use a good rug stain remover like Resolve and scrub and rinse. You could use any other non-foaming cleaner if it is safe for your rug. Always test cleaners on an inconspicuous spot before using them anywhere else.
